Delete a Profile Click on Delete to remove a profile record from the online profile list.
a. Changing a PROMAS profile ID, will cause a second online profile to be created during the Sync and update process; the new profile will not override the original profile. The invalid profile must be manually deleted from the online profile list. Note: When the older profile is deleted, the statements, documents, and history attached to that profile will no longer be accessible. b. Users can prevent profile duplication by changing the client's PROMAS ID in HomeRentals.net before synching from PROMAS. The Profile Editor is a master level function.
An owner profile is ineligible for deletion if there is a listing connected to it. Before manually deleting an online owner profile record, the user must first delete the owner's properties from the RP Listings System or reassign the listings to a different online owner record.
Edit a Profile Click on Edit to manually update an online profile and to assign individual profile authorizations. Owner, Tenant, and Vendor profile updates are usually managed through PROMAS and then synchronized to HomeRentals.net. The online Edit option enables non-PROMAS users to manually update online profile data and enables all users to individualize profile authorizations.

Profile authorization options may include:
If the VR (Vacation Rental) Management System is enabled in the user's system package:
8. Online Bookings 9. Online Reservations
The marked profile authorizations in individual profile records are enabled (turned on) for that specific client. Remove the mark from a profile authorization to disable it (turn it off) for that specific client. If a client reports a problem accessing one of these features, check their online profile authorizations to verify that they have been properly configured.
When editing an Owner profile, the user is given the option to manually Add or Remove the owner's property (listing) information from their online record (Figure 23d). The Owner / Listing connection is created automatically during the Sync Listings from RPM process. Users that upload unit data from PROMAS and then use Sync Listings from RPM to create listing records do not need to manually assign properties to owner profiles. This option is primarily for non-PROMAS users and for those that do not use the HomeRentals.net RP Listings System. To create the listing/owner connection, both the RP Listings and RP Management must be active in the user's system package. Contact HomeRentals.net Member Support to request more information about the RP Listings System if it is not currently active.

When editing a Tenant profile, the user is given the option to assign the tenant to a particular "Class:" Tenant, Occupant, Prospect, or Group and the user can configure the following tenant-specific online payment options (Figure 23e):

Both owner and statement profiles display an statement key icon beside the status indicator. A green statement icon indicates that the profile is properly correlated with an online statement. A red statement key icon indicates the user needs to upload profiles from PROMAS to establish profile/statement connection. |
