RP Management System Overview

Top  Next

The RP Management System has been designed to help property management companies efficiently communicate with clients (owners, tenants, and vendors) through the use of the Internet.  We refer to these people as Clients - the people your company transacts with in the course of business.

HomeRentals.net understands the terms Owner, Tenant, and Vendor may not be the terms that your company uses to describe the people you work with.  For purposes of simplicity, these are the terms we have adopted in this system.  The user's company may call a tenant a "resident" for example, or an owner an "investor."  That's perfectly acceptable, and we trust that users will understand the terminology we have chosen.

RP Management System Components

The RP Management System has three major components:

1.PROMAS accounting software with the HomeRentals.net Internet Publishing function enabled.  If the “Internet Publishing” feature is not enabled under the “Mailings” menu, please contact PROMAS to unlock it.
2.The HomeRentals.net Control Panel with the RP Management System enabled.  If the RP Management menu  is not active in the Control Panel tool bar, please contact HomeRentals.net Member Support.
3.MyRentalHome.com Internet portal, or your company’s PM Website with the RP Management integration enabled.

The following sections provide a more detailed description of each RP Management System component.
