Refer to the Online Applications configuration section of this guide for information about setting up the online application, and refer to the Online Payments configuration section of this guide for information about creating a PayPal account and setting up online payments.

 

Viewing Application Payments

After an applicant submits an online payment, the property management company will immediately receive an email in the business PayPal logon email account.  The payment record will simultaneously be posted in the HomeRentals.net Control Panel.  View application payments through RP Management - Tenants - Lookup an Application Payment.  Configure the search parameters to locate a specific online payment record, or leave the search parameters blank to view all online payment records within a specific timeframe.

 

Follow the property management company's normal application fee accounting procedures when processing application payments.  (Figure 41)

Remember to transfer funds from your PayPal account into the property management company's trust or operating accounts.
