Spyware

Many computers have spyware installed on them. Spyware programs track surfing habits, abuse Internet connections by sending this data to a third party, profile shopping preferences, hijack the browser start page or pages, alter important system files, and can do this without the computer user's knowledge or permission.

Run a free spyware scan:

1.  Go to Webroot.com -  http://www.webroot.com/php/tryme.php?bjpc=64001&vcode=DA01

2.  Click Open or Run to scan the computer system for spyware

3.  If the scan shows any malicious spyware,  download a spyware cleanup tool to remove it.
