If the user's property management company has already established a PayPal Business Account, skip this section.  If the company has not yet established a business PayPal account, follow the exact steps below to create the account. Failure to properly set up and configure the online payment account may result in misdirected funds and invalid system connections.

Business Information

Customer Service Information

Owner Information

PayPal Account Logon Information  (Email Address and Password).  HomeRentals.net recommends using an email address like Payments@YourDomain.com.  The user can either create a new email account with that name, or add it as an alias to an existing email account. The PayPal account logon email address will be entered into the Configuration - System Preferences screen of the Control Panel and will receive all online payment notifications. Select a password that will be difficult for others to figure out.  It is very important to create a complex password and keep it highly confidential. If a person has the PayPal account username (email address) and password, they will be able to see the property management company's financial transactions and transfer money.

Password Recovery

Review User Agreement / Privacy Policy, and enter the security code.

Enter Account information, or skip this step and complete it later.

4.Follow instructions to verify the PayPal account (Figure 6e) and to set up one or more bank accounts in PayPal. PayPal requires users to add a bank account as part of the verification procedure.  This is one of PayPal's fraud protection measures.  The user will deposit and/or withdraw funds from the bank account.  The property management company's operating account should be set up as the primary bank account and its trust account(s) should be added as additional account(s).

After creating and confirming the PayPal account, the user will have an opportunity to "Setup Your Payment Solution."  The majority of these preferences are provided through the HomeRentals.net system and there is no special website configuration required.
